It is with a huge smile and much pride, that I am working with Loblaw as they are promoting healthy eating, plant-powered choices, and getting us back to basics in the kitchen with whole foods. When Loblaw released their 2017 Canadian Food Trends, they identified that people are looking for simple, great tasting foods and raw, natural ingredients. That makes this vegan chef very happy! Progress!
I will be talking all things organic and vegan, and showing off how easy it is to make raw Pad Thai and my signature Red Beet Ravioli with cashew cheese plus my 3 ingredient, raw chocolate brownies (click through this slideshow for photos) at a free cooking class at Loblaws 60 Carlton this coming Saturday February 25th .
The first 100 people who attend my 6:30-8:30 free cooking class will receive a copy of my first cookbook, Eat Raw Eat Well, so you can take more inspiration home with you!
In addition, join me also on Saturday, February 25 at 4:25pm for a Live Facebook event streamed on the Loblaws 60 Carlton Facebook page, where I will showcase some of my signature preparation tricks and tips, as well as professional chef plating techniques in store!
Check the Loblaws 60 Carlton Facebook page for a list of activities and details and I look forward to seeing you involved!
I hope you enjoy watching my appearance on Breakfast Television about this event, and raw, plant-powered organic eating and cooking.
Let’s bring vegan mainstream where it belongs!
With gratitude to all of you and to the team at Loblaw, and excitement,
