What a HUGE honour to win “Best Chef” in Toronto this morning! That isn’t “Best Vegan Chef” but actually “Best Chef” – which is not just a personal honour, but an honour for all those working on building a kinder and more compassionate food system for all. We shouldn’t simply strive to be the best in our own category, but should always work toward inspiring as many as we can from every category!
Change is happening, and I am humbled and honoured to be part of positive change in Toronto’s food scene and thank Now Toronto for this meaningful and exciting honour.
